针对该现状提出分析和见解。在此框架下,我们将同时对自然与社会两个方面展开讨
论。实证部分是基于一项关于上海养老院的定性研究以及一份关于如何看待老年人护
理业的调查。此项研究总结了养老院的地理位置、补助津贴、人员配备和传统服务质
量以及仍存在的亟待解决的问题。

Abstract
An ageing population fosters tremendous challenges in many parts of the world,
including in the world's most populous country - China. At the same time, it also nurtures
tremendous business opportunities. Using the case of Shanghai, the aim is to investigate
existing business models in the field of elderly care, and provide analytical insights of the
status quo.
Both natural and social ways within the framework of elderly care are discussed. The
empirical part is based on a qualitative study of Shanghai's retirement/nursing homes along
with a survey on attitudes towards elderly care. The study concludes that the location of
retirement/nursing homes; subsidies; staffing; and quality of the provided services in general,
remain pressing issues.
