摘要
过去几十年中国的的经济建设取得了伟大的成就,其中制造业贡献巨大,
功不可没。高速发展后的中国经济在全球经济陷入疲软的大环境下,转入了低
速发展的新常态中,面临产业结构调整和升级的双重压力。作为中国工业化进
程中的排头兵,特别是传统 PC 产业的中小制造企业也是举步维艰,如何消耗产
能、拓展新业务,找到新的途径摆脱困境成为企业自救和走出困境的关键。在
供应链管理日益成熟、VMI(供应商管理库存)运作不断完善的今天,海外 VMI
的业务运作不失为中国中小制造企业的一个突破口。利用自身的制造优势、技
术经验,跳过以前的中间制造商直接与海外的终端制造商客户建立起海外 VMI
业务关系,会让企业前面的道路豁然开朗
本文采用文献研究法、调查和案例研究法相结合的方式,很好地阐述了海
外 VMI 业务对改善和帮助我国中小制造企业实现产业升级的重要意义。首先,
论文对研究背景和选题意义做了简明扼要的说明,罗列了国内外文献及论文的
技术路线和结构;其次通过对供应链和 VMI 概念的梳理,解释了 VMI 的合作共
赢实质和精神以及 VMI 在制造企业应用的意义,揭示了 VMI 在我国中小制造企
业的应用现状和中小制造企业在海外开展 VMI 业务的必要性,并对海外 VMI 运
作的原理和实践加以说明。再次,结合爱格升的海外 VMI 运作实例,详细介绍
了海外 VMI 业务的具体运作流程和实际操作,以及海外 VMI 业务的实施效果确
认,对中小制造企业学习和开展海外 VMI 的运作管理具有很好的示范作用和借
鉴意义。论文最后,对全文做了总结和展望
希望本文能帮助到正在徘徊和挣扎中的广大中小制造企业,祝他们早日掌

Abstract
Over the past few decades, China&39;s economic construction has been made great
achievements with huge contribution from manufacturing. After rapid development,
China’s economy has been developing in lower speed while the global economy is in
shrinking situation, and it might also last for years with the double pressure of
industrial structure adjustment and upgrading. As the pioneer of China&39;s
industrialization, China&39;s small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises are
struggling for how to deplete the capacity and how to develop new business Finding
a new way making themselves out of the trouble becomes the first priority to
enterprises. In the circumstances that supply chain management is becoming more
and more mature and VMI operation is constantly improving, today overseas VMI
business operation can be regarded as a breakthrough for China&39;s small and medium-
sized manufacturing enterprises. Taking advantage of their own manufacturing and
technical experience and skipping the middle manufacturers, it’s wise for them to
establish the direct business relationship with the terminal manufacturers(overseas
customers) by VMI model and process, and then get the new opportunity for
development.
By means of literature research, investigation and case study, this paper
expounds that the overseas VMI business is very helpful for small and medium-sized
manufacturing enterprises to improve and achieve industrial upgrading. First of all,
the thesis explains the background and purpose of the research, and also lists the
domestic and foreign literatures of VMI and illustrates technical route and structure of
the papers; Secondly, based on supply chain and VMI concepts, it explains the
essence and win-win spirit of VMI cooperation, the benefits from VMI application in
manufacturing enterprise, and explains the situation of VMI application in China and
the necessity why the small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in our
country need to develop the overseas VMI business. Also the principle and practice of
overseas VMI operation are explained. Thirdly, using Ergotron as the example, the
thesis introduces the operation process and actual practice of ovseas VMI operation
detailedly and the effect confirmation of implementation of Ergotorn overseas VMI
business. It is a very good demonstration with significance meaning of reference forAbstract

the small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises to study and carry out the
operation management of overseas VMI.
Hopfully this paper can help the small and medium-sized manufacturing
enterprises which are hovering and struggling, then they grasp management skill of
overseas VMI operation and implement and get success in the oversea VMI business
and finally help the enterprises out of difficulties!
