对于企业和整个社会而言，突破式创新是财富创造的核心。因此，突破式创 新是大多数企业的优先考虑事项，希望突破式创新能引领它们走向成功。先前的 研究认为，专注于突破式创新的公司具有更大的价值、更强的市场力量，并且更 能获取长远利益，比那些不注重突破式创新的公司更有优势。突破式创新与新产 品成功呈正相关，高创新性提高了企业绩效，公司的突破式创新只占其收入的 38%，而占其利润的61%，专注于突破式创新的公司可以获得可观的收益。但管 理者要想实现突破式创新也并非易事，需要准确把握突破式创新的特征与发展规 律。突破式创新本身带有高度的不确定性，企业管理者对待不确定性的态度将影 响到突破式创新的发展。不确定性容忍度水平高的管理者可能更能主动应对市场 挑战，将不确定性因素视为一种机会，而不是绝对的威胁，更能主动地采取措施 解决创新中的问题，实现创新突破。已有研究表明，不确定性容忍度越高，将有 利于创新绩效的提升。同时，在具体的创新活动中，个体的不确定性容忍度水平 的高低将影响其采用何种行动/决策行为来应对突破式创新。决策逻辑分为因果 逻辑和效果逻辑，因果逻辑强调基于既定的计划进行决策，效果逻辑则强调通过 灵活的安排来应对风险与挑战，这两种决策逻辑将影响突破式创新的发展。不确 定性容忍度水平不同的管理者将在选择何种决策逻辑上产生差异，不确定性容忍 度水平越高的管理者更倾向于采取更为灵活的效果逻辑决策方式，强调合作，利 用风险，抓住机遇，进而促进突破式创新的发展，而因果逻辑注重既定计划，在 高度不确定的创新活动中难以适时而变，将不利于突破式创新的发展。由此，决 策逻辑在一定程度上揭示了管理者的不确定性容忍度水平与突破式创新关系间 的内在作用机制。另外，企业所处的外部环境会影响到决策逻辑效应的发挥，环 境动态性反映了市场、技术等因素的变化程度，它可能影响到因果/效果逻辑对 突破式创新效应的发挥。 为此，本文基于前人的研究，梳理了不确定性容忍度、决策逻辑、环境动态 性、突破式创新的相关文献，以不确定性容忍度对突破式创新的影响为出发点， 深度剖析决策逻辑在两者中的中介作用，并研究环境动态性在决策逻辑对突破式 创新的调节作用以及环境动态性对决策逻辑中介作用的调节作用。在实证研究 中，本研究以位于武汉市创新产业园的185名中高层管理人员为有效样本，采用 层级回归的方法探讨了不确定性容忍度、决策逻辑和突破式创新的关系。研究结 果表明：（1）不确定性容忍度与突破式创新显著正相关；（2）不确定性容忍度 与因果逻辑显著负相关，与效果逻辑显著正相关；（3）突破式创新与因果逻辑 显著负相关，与效果逻辑显著正相关；（4）因果/效果逻辑在不确定性容忍度与 武汉理工大学硕士学位论文 II 突破式创新的关系中发挥着部分中介作用；（5）环境动态性正向调节效果逻辑 与突破式创新的关系，对因果逻辑与突破式创新的关系没有显著的调节作用；（6） 环境动态性正向调节效果逻辑在不确定性容忍度与突破式创新间的中介作用，对 因果逻辑在不确定性容忍度与突破式创新间的中介作用没有显著调节作用。本研 究进一步揭示了管理者的不确定性容忍度水平是如何影响突破式创新的，丰富了 突破式创新的前置影响因素研究成果，深化了创新管理研究，具有一定的理论意 义。同时，在实现突破式创新发展中，本研究为不确定性容忍度水平不同的管理 者采取何种决策逻辑提供了指导，具有较大的实践意义。 关键词：不确定性容忍度；突破式创新；因果逻辑；效果逻辑；环境动态性 武汉理工大学硕士学位论文 III Abstract Forenterprisesandthewholesociety,breakthroughinnovationisthecoreof wealthcreation.Therefore,breakthroughinnovationisthepriorityofmostenterprises, hopingthatbreakthroughinnovationcanleadthemtosuccess.Previousstudieshave shownthatcompaniesthatfocusonbreakthroughinnovationhavegreatervalue, strongermarketpower,andmorelong-termbenefitsthanthosethatdonotfocuson breakthroughinnovation.Breakthroughinnovationispositivelycorrelatedwiththe successofnewproducts.Highinnovationimprovescorporateperformance. Breakthroughinnovationaccountsforonly38%ofitsrevenueand61%ofitsprofits. Companiesthatfocusonbreakthroughinnovationcanachievesubstantialgains. However,itisnoteasyforenterprisestoachievebreakthroughinnovation,sothey needtograspthecharacteristicsanddevelopmentlawofbreakthroughinnovation. Breakthroughinnovationitselfhasahighdegreeofuncertainty,theattitudeof managerstouncertaintywillaffectthedevelopmentofbreakthroughinnovation. Managerswithhighlevelsofuncertaintytolerancemaybemoreabletoactively respondtomarketchallenges,regarduncertaintyfactorsasanopportunityratherthan anabsolutethreat,andbemoreproactiveintakingmeasurestosolveproblemsin innovationandachieveinnovationbreakthroughs.Studieshaveshownthatthehigher theuncertaintytolerance,thebettertheinnovationperformance.Atthesametime,in theconcreteinnovationworkInaction,thelevelofuncertaintytolerancewillaffect whatactions/decision-makingbehaviorthefirmadoptsinresponsetobreakthrough innovation.Decisionlogicisdividedintocausallogicandeffectlogic,causallogic emphasizesmakingdecisionbasedonestablishedplan,effectlogicemphasizes copingwithrisksandchallengesthroughflexiblearrangement,thesetwokindsof decisionlogicwillaffectthedevelopmentofbreakthroughinnovation.Firmswith differentlevelsofuncertaintytolerancewilldifferintheirchoiceofdecisionlogic. Firmswithhigherlevelsofuncertaintytolerancetendtoadoptamoreflexible approachtologicaldecision-making,emphasizingcooperation,takingadvantageof risksandopportunitiesThedevelopmentofbreakthroughinnovation,andthecausal logicfocusontheestablishedplan,inthehighlyuncertaininnovationactivitiesare difficulttotimelyandchange,willnotbeconducivetothedevelopmentof breakthroughinnovation.Therefore,thedecision-makinglogicrevealstoacertain extenttheintrinsicmechanismbetweentheuncertaintytolerancelevelandthe breakthroughinnovationrelationship.Inaddition,theexternalenvironmentofthe 武汉理工大学硕士学位论文 IV enterprisewillaffecttheexertionofthedecisionlogiceffect,andtheenvironmental dynamicreflectsthechangedegreeofthemarket,technologyandotherfactors,which mayaffecttheexertionofthecausal/effectlogictothebreakthroughinnovation effect.
