H Company Development Strategy Research under the situation of
centralized the meter tender
Abstract
To better promote Smart Grid construction, State Grid executed their “Three sets and big
Five” since 2010,South Grid also move forward their own strategy of Two types”,then they
both centralized the electrical meter procurement power from the provinces, municipalities.
This adjustment has brought fundamental changes of marketing model for meter industry, the
degree of manufacturing intensive, scale production has been further improved, but also make
the average gross margin level rapidly drops and the enterprise profitability become a huge
challenge. H company act as one of the leading company in domestic meter industry,it has
good popularity and reputation . In front of pportunities of Smart Grid construction and
development, how to quickly and efficiently adjust and satisfy the demands of the market,
how to maintain or even increase the competitive advantage of enterprises and the leading
position, these questions are the vital points for company's development.
This article is mainly research the enterprise how to response the changes from a
strategic view in the background of centralized scale bidding,this paper takes enterprise's
development strategic choice and implementation as the basic theoretical framework, through
the current development environment of meter industry at home and abroad and the industry
development analysis research,deeply study and plan the H company's development strategic
transformation, to develop a new strategy to realize the enterprise's development and
upgrading. The author tries to propose some constructive suggestions for the enterprises to
improve efficiency and realize the sustainable development from the strategic management
and decision-making view. The author suggest, as an industry leader, H company should
actively respond to the changes, making adjustments from the marketing, technology and
operations. In the world many countries have committed to smart grid construction, H
company should increase investment in overseas markets and maintain a leading position in
the domestic export industries. Diversification is a necessary option for the development
strategy of H company, with domestic and international marketing network advantage, H
company can achieve the related diversification of the power industry and public
measurement instruments.
